You never have to read this. But here it is anyway.

How this site is measured

This is the full list of what this site measures and how it treats your privacy, published in the open. Every client gets a plain-English version of this, so you always know exactly what your website does and doesn't do. If a site is going to show its work, it should show all of it.

section_view: event_spec

The event spec

Every event fired on this site, what triggers it, the parameters it carries, and the GA4 event it maps to. The console panel on the home page prints these live as you browse.

Event Trigger Params GA4 event

cta_click Any primary or secondary CTA cta_id, cta_location cta_click (custom)
scroll_depth 50 and 90 percent of page height percent, page_path scroll (custom, params percent + page_path)

section_view: consent

The consent approach, in plain language

Before you choose anything, nothing is sent. Consent Mode v2 loads with every storage type set to denied, so Google's tags hold back and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. That happens before Google Tag Manager even finishes loading.

You get a small banner, not a wall you have to fight through. Two buttons, Accept and Decline, both real. If you accept, I update consent to granted and analytics starts. If you decline, it stays off and the site works exactly the same. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie for twelve months so you are not asked again.

The console panel on the home page shows this honestly. Before you accept, events read queued: consent pending. After you accept, they read pushed. Nothing is hidden and nothing fires early.

section_view: tools

The tools

Google Tag Manager

The single tag pipe. Every tag on this site loads through GTM and nothing else. One place to see and control what runs.

Google Analytics 4

Traffic and events, configured through GTM. Only loads after you accept, under Consent Mode v2.

Microsoft Clarity

Heatmaps and session replay for improving the pages. Also gated behind consent. Nothing records until you accept.

HubSpot

The CRM. Only receives what you type into the audit form, and only when you submit it. Not used for passive tracking.

section_view: not_collected

What is not collected

  • No data of any kind before you accept. Consent Mode v2 defaults to denied.
  • No cross-site advertising cookies. This site runs no ad pixels.
  • No form field contents in analytics. Your audit details go only to HubSpot and my email.
  • No session recordings or heatmaps until you accept. Clarity is gated on consent.
  • No fingerprinting, no data brokers, no selling anything to anyone.
